Everyone's Missing the Point With AI Marketing.

Yes, yes...

Another post on an AI-related strategy.

That's cause it's a BIG deal.

Last time, we talked about AI chatbots. Read how they destroy your customer relations here: Find Out

Every few months, the money side of X (Twitter) gets obsessed with a new shiny object.

Remember NFTs? Web3? The “metaverse” that nobody actually asked for?

Now it's AI-generated marketing. And it's got everybody sweating.

Copywriters, designers, LinkedIn gurus... they're scrambling to claim they've been using AI "since 2017."

And the appeal is simple: AI can write, design, analyze, and optimize everything for you. Faster. Smarter. Cheaper.

Sounds great. But does it actually work?

Let’s break it down.

AI's Biggest Promise: "Do More with Less"

The pitch is simple:

  • No more blank page syndrome—AI writes your emails, ad copy, and website content.

  • No more overpaying designers—AI whips up creatives and branding assets.

  • No more wasting hours on testing—AI auto-optimizes ad campaigns for max ROI.

And here’s the thing—some of this is true.

AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Jasper can crank out content at scale. It’s faster than a human, never takes a coffee break, and doesn’t ask for a raise.

But there’s a catch. A massive, business-killing catch.

AI’s Biggest Flaw: "Everyone Sounds the Same"

The more brands rely on AI-generated content, the more everything starts blending into one big corporate oatmeal.

Remember Goldilocks and the three bears? There was a hot oatmeal, a cold one, and one that was just right.

The corporate oatmeal we're talking about is cold, bland, and gray. NOT "just right."

AI doesn’t think. It recycles. It scrapes from existing content, rewords it, and spits out the same predictable takes over and over.

You know exactly what I mean.

  • “Here are 5 powerful marketing strategies to scale your business fast 🚀”

  • “The future of [insert industry] is evolving—don’t get left behind!”

  • “We’re excited to announce our latest innovation!”

You’ve seen this a million times. And the worst part?

It’s all forgettable.

Because AI doesn’t have personality. It doesn’t have guts. It doesn’t take risks, crack jokes, or make you feel anything. And in today's world, where attention is currency, that's a death sentence. So… Should You Use AI for Marketing?

Yes. But not the way most people do.

AI is a tool, not a replacement. It can assist but shouldn’t lead.

Here’s how to actually use AI the right way:

1️⃣ Use AI for grunt work, not creative direction.

→ Let AI draft your first version, but you refine it. Personality and originality still come from you.

2️⃣ Mix AI speed with human intelligence.

→ AI can generate ideas, but don’t let it dictate your strategy. Your brain is still the boss.

3️⃣ Avoid the AI content trap.

→ If every brand is using AI, then human-driven content becomes the premium. A little creativity goes a long way.

The Verdict

AI marketing isn’t a game-changer.

It’s a shortcut.

And shortcuts rarely build long-term, profitable brands.

So, if you’re looking for quick, easy, forgettable content that sounds like everyone else? Let AI run the show.

If you want a brand that actually stands out?

Use AI as a tool—but keep the steering wheel in your own hands.

Because the second you let AI take over completely...

You become just another bland, generic, low-effort brand.

And trust me—nobody remembers those.
